DreamLab Yoga invites you to join an epic adventure; a dreamy escape to the Mediterranean - the DreamScape Yoga Retreat! Leave the business of the city behind and heal yourself from the stresses of the corona winter. In this 5-day long immersion into yoga, you will practice on the beach facing the sea, enjoy the beautiful, ecologically preserved environment and explore the rich cultural heritage of the island.
Vis, an island in the Adriatic Sea located between Croatia and Italy, 25 miles south-west from Split, is the most remote, inhabited island of the Croatian coast. It is considered one of the jewels of the Adriatic and is also known as the "Island of secrets'' because of its rich history and an unusual geographical position. The beauty of its landscape, rich historical heritage, Roman architecture of Vis and Komiža, traditional Mediterranean culture, as well as its moderate climate and the clean sea, provide the perfect setting for deep relaxation and spiritual renewal.
Estate under the Paintbrush, a family-run estate located in the village Rukavac on the south-eastern side of the island of Vis, will be our home base during these five days. The property is an artistic, hand-painted space and includes two houses, an Atelier/Yoga Shala and several shaded terraces and porches that offer profound benefits of enjoying the scents, colours and sounds of the garden, and the unique handmade artworks that are deeply woven into the whole space.
Accommodation is in shared apartments which are approximately 80/90m2, with 2 double rooms and a living area, an open kitchen, a bathroom, and a veranda. Each space has a separate entrance and its own terrace. The terrace itself is an intimate space with a panoramic view of the nearby hills and a line of sea in the distance. Bedding and towels in all apartments are made from high quality cotton. TV SAT, WiFi Internet included.
Transportation to Vis and back is not part of the offer and needs to be organized by the participant. The island is accessible by ferry or catamaran departing from the harbor in Split. A journey by ferry takes 2h 15 minutes and by catamaran 1h 15 minutes.
Split can be reached by all means of transportation. If you are coming from Berlin, the easiest (and cheapest) way to get to Split is by Easyjet. At the moment return tickets can be found for 50 euros.
